Concert Attire

To best represent Sanderson High School in area concerts and competitions, the 2008-2009 Wind Ensemble and Concert Bands have adopted the following dress requirements:

Gentlemen (See below for purchase instructions)

1. White Tuxedo shirt, black bow tie, and black cummerbund.
2. Solid black dress pants. Absolutely no jeans or casual wear of any kind.
3. Black socks and black dress shoes. No tennis shoes. Your black band shoes may be used.

Ladies

1. White Tuxedo shirt, black bow tie, and black cummerbund.
2. Ankle length solid black skirt. To insure uniformity, the skirts will be ordered through the band at a price of approximately $35.00. They have an elastic waist and can be easily hemmed. Girls will be measured for these at band camp. Unlike previous years, no pants or short shirts will be allowed.
3. Black hose and black dress shoes. Pumps or sling backs are acceptable. Absolutely no clogs, flip flops, mules or slides.

Purchase Instructions (discount available): Last year we were able to purchase tuxedo shirt, tie, and cumber bund at VIP Formal Wear in Crabtree Valley Mall . Mention that you are from Sanderson and the set at VIP will be $24.95 plus tax (per Hall, Manager), or purchase the shirt individually for $14.95, the bow tie for $2.50, or the cumber bund for $7.50.
Payment for skirts is due up front; it cannot be paid from fair share.

The Band may have a limited number of used tuxedo shirts (without tie or cummerbund) for $5.00.
