Heartstrings

Heartstrings is a committee within the Sanderson Band Boosters organization. It was formed several years ago for the purpose of helping band members and their families in times of special need. For example, Heartstrings has sent cards or flowers to a band member or their family member suffering from a serious illness or in the hospital. Heartstrings has provide a note of appreciation or support to a band family with a relative serving in the Armed Forces or a note of sympathy to a family that has lost a loved one. Heartstrings also can organize a meal for a family if that is something that would be appreciated.

These are just a few examples of ways we can support each other through Heartstrings. If you know of any situation that calls for our attention or if you'd like to be added to the list to help prepare a meal if needed, please email or call me. Anyone is welcome to become involved with this committee.

(Note: For privacy reasons, Heartstrings will not notify or update Boosters on illnesses, etc., unless specifically asked to pass along information.)
