SANDERSON HIGH SCHOOL BAND FUND-RAISER

We need volunteers to sell concessions at Walnut Creek events. Since beer is sold at all of our stands, all adult workers must be over the age of 21 and must be TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) trained. TIPS training is good for 3 years and involves attending a 3-hour training session. Student workers (minimum age 16) are needed to assist with food preparation. We receive a percentage of total sales at each stand for every event. The total number of volunteer units is equal to the total number of volunteers that worked each event. One parent working or one student working one event earns 1 unit. Two family members can work the same event and earn 2 units. You can sign up for as many events as you would like. At the end of the season we total the money raised, and divide it into the number of units to give a dollar amount per unit. The number of units that you have earned times the dollar amount per unit is what gets credited to your student's fair share account. If you are the stand manager, you will need to arrive half an hour earlier than the other workers, pick up the money from the cash office, and begin counting inventory. After the show, you are responsible for getting your workers to help count the inventory and clean the stand. You need to count all the cash and reconcile the stand. The clipboard and coupons are turned in to the Aramark worker at the table, and all money needs to be turned in to the cash office. Within a day or two, you need to go on-line to complete the Stand Manager report.
